I hope you all had as much fun as Toia Barry, Cadian Carter and myself had planning the event! There was so much beneficial information. We really appreciated all the questions and feedback we received! I must say that the swag bag was such an awesome surprise. It was filled with so many awesome samples! I cant wait to try them all!!
From my swag bag of samples- I have been twisting my hair with the fabulous Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream. It leaves my hair soft and there are no flakes. This is my second day using the product so I will have a more thorough review in the near future. But so far, so good. I love it! But what I enjoyed the most was hearing Chris-Tia Donaldson speak. I cant believe I had she signed my book!!! If I haven't mentioned it before, Thank God I'm Natural is the best book that I have read regarding natural hair. If you haven't purchased Thank God I'm Natural...you must. The book is jammed packed with information, pictures and techniques that will blow your mind. I call it my "hair bible" because there are so many terminologies and ingredients that you can go back and look up. But what I've appreciated the most was the history of black hair. To know where you are going you must know where you came from. And I really appreciate the information Chris-Tia incorporated in the book. No one that has purchased this book has been disappointed and neither will you.
